A Tupilak is a mythical avenging monster from Inuit religion and folklore particularly in Greenland. They could be made from bits of animal parts and sometimes from Human corpses.

Chants and magic brought the Tupilak to life.

Then they were placed in the sea to hunt down the offending target!

Tupilaks are no longer sent as curses.

The modern Tupilak has become highly collectible and a prized style from Greenland.

TRADITION has been carved in a realistic style.

The detailed carving is inspirational.

This Dancer is only five inches tall.

Look at his facial features!

If you didn't know this was a small carving, you would not be wrong in thinking it was at least a foot tall.
